SOUKAÏNA'S STORY

Life: a sweet, wonderful and unforgettable show.

For as long as she can remember, she has been a cheerful and passionate person about people. In these eyes, taking care of people is natural. As a little girl, she takes care of the guests when her parents always receive kind attention, a little song, a poem, a word of welcome and the right word to make people smile, welcome and comfort them.

However, this perfect life that seems to be shaping up to be cloudless takes a difficult turn when her father dies. Barely 13 years old, Souka shows resilience and loses none of her optimism. She redoubles her dynamism to face the rest of things. As a teenager, she treats every little family reunion, every party, as the biggest event. Impeccable decor, games, seating, cutlery and menu choices. Everything is orchestrated. Nothing is left to chance, yet everything seems to happen naturally and effortlessly.

Warm, with a keen sense of organization, Soukaïna is extremely concerned about the well-being of others. She has an ability to convince and lead people into her projects, simply because she believes in them.

She works as an auxiliary nurse, this diploma has given her a promotion as a nurse as well as new responsibilities. Career goals in healthcare are becoming more tangible. Concerned about her patients, she is a rigorous, cheerful and very dedicated nurse.

Recognized for being a person with a heart on her sleeve, it was December 2016 that Soukaïna, despite the persistent reluctance of her relatives, went to Haiti for the first time, as part of a humanitarian trip to discover her country of origin. origin, the land that saw the birth of his father, his mother and his ancestors. This trip is the turning point for his vocation and the deep confirmation of wanting to help the most deprived within his skills.

At the age of 24, Soukaïna finds herself at the Grand-Goave hospital, as a caregiver surrounded by Cuban doctors, for a period of 2 weeks. The effervescence of the place, the urgency, the road accidents, the impromptu deliveries took over certain language barriers and filled the days of his short stay well.

With the Christmas holidays approaching, she got involved with the Adeline Raphael Foundation for the Young People of Grand-Goave (FARJGG), in the organization of the region's children's party: distribution of gifts, in the 10 districts of the Commune of Grand-Goave, visit of the children and animation of various events, she does not want to miss anything!!! She tells herself that she will sleep when she returns to Montreal.

Her reckless and go-getter side led her to meet great people, so much so that she renewed the experience two years later in December 2018 with enthusiasm and brilliance.
